About
Our assistive device kit
Living with Parkinson's disease can make everyday activities such as writing, dressing, and remembering things more challenging. For people diagnosed with Early Onset Parkinson's Disease, these changes can affect daily life at a relatively young age.
The devices included in our kit were selected through research and interviews with people living with Parkinson's. We focused on simple, practical tools that can help support independence and make everyday tasks a little easier.
Our goal is to encourage a proactive approach by introducing useful assistive tools early, helping individuals maintain confidence and independence for longer.
Science & Research
All Four products are scientifically backed and patient-validated
Parkinson’s disease slowly takes away the ability to perform very basic everyday tasks independently. Activities like dressing, writing and exercising become increasingly difficult and frustrating Broega et al. (2022) . This decreases the welfare of a Parkinson’s patient significantly more than other chronic diseases do, for many patients this loss of independence is the most psychologically damaging aspect of the condition (Schrag, 2000) . Which makes it one of the most important targets of treatment for the disease.
